Outcomes and Additional Information
The team created a virtual RPG in a simulated Calamityville environment utilizing Vive headset and trackers and a real-world model of an RPG.
Additionally a side effort utilized a Raspberry PI to capture GPS and accelerometer data to create a standalone device capable of being separate from the simulated Calamityville environment.
DIS was used to communicate with other simulations at Calamityville, create targets for the RPG that also sends out DIS information.
Future use of this project will be at Calamityville, where it will be used for testing and training in a non-destructive, virtual environment.
