Expectations:
Expectations:
Work as a member of a team of professional educators to fulfill an identified STEM-education need by a customer.
Work 15-25 hours per week for duration of the 8-week program.
Complete individual work (lesson plans, activities, unit plans, or curriculum) with a focus on STEM education for integration into classrooms.
Work alongside GRILL staff and a contingent of high school students while they conduct research.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the GRILL.
Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.

BS/BA in Education, an MAT, or an undergraduate degree in a related field plus 3 or more years related experience
Each higher-level related degree (i.e., Master’s Degree or Ph.D.) may substitute for two years of related experience. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
Preferred: Candidates possess educator licensure from the Ohio Department of Education.
Preferred: Candidates with a strong background in STEM and experience implementing STEM in the classroom.
Any coding or software background is a plus.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Work at the GRILL location in Kettering, Ohio.
